Commissions at a glance
INSPIRATION
Gathering inspiration is the first step to our process. After sending you a link to your personal project folder, we ask you to submit an inspirational reference photo along with a brief description of the project scope.
CONSULTATION
We will schedule a one-on-one phone consultation to determine the subject, size, and feeling of your painting. This is also the time to talk through your reference photo and add any points of sentimental value into your commission. Listening to your story and deciding how to execute your hopes for the commission is one of my favorite parts in this experience.
SKETCH & STUDY
I create a sketch to bring visual conception to your ideas. Then, I study the moods of the painting and decide how to highlight the emotion behind it. This process is all done through our project platform together, so you can skip all the nagging emails and phone calls. Just check our project platform to see what’s next!
FINAL PAINTING
Guided by the visual concepts and conversations we’ve had, I will curate your final painting. Watching your ideas come to life is a fun and exciting part of the process. I frequently upload progress photos to the project folders so you can enjoy the process and share it with others if you wish.
PACKING & SHIPPING
Your painting is signed and packaged with care, and shipped to you.
